Great Strengths from Christ Our Savior and the Creator of ALL things.*

Saint Augustine around the 5th century:
“God without us will not; and we without God cannot.”

 Martin Luther in 1529:
 "I believe that I cannot by my own reason or strength believe in Jesus Christ,
 my Lord, or come to Him; but the Holy Ghost has called me by the Gospel,
 enlightened me with His Gifts,  sanctified and kept me in the True Faith...".

This past year has been a wonderful year in the Lord. Karen and I discovered new friends in our faith journey. Back in December 2004, we changed denominations. We joined Kure Memorial Lutheran Church (ELCA).

As the Spirit moves, we will be updating this Special Portion Of our Web Site.

*  Are there Cursillo Secrets?
You may have been told by some who have attended the weekend that they cannot tell
you what Cursillo is all about or what goes on during a Cursillo weekend.
 This is not correct. Everything that goes on during the weekend may be told to anyone.
Cursillo literature is available to anyone who wishes to read or purchase the materials.

Without offending any other Faiths, we hope you find Love, Encouragement,  and Enjoyment in our Correct Society. God bless!!

Since the tragic events of September 11, 2001, Karen and I are reminded that we need the comforting assurance that life goes on!

When President Kennedy was slain, one of his grieving brothers, Bobby, was quoted that "he found comfort when he turned to the cherished Scriptures and some of the Ancient Greek writings.

 I noticed on that horrible day in September 2001, CBS News Anchorman, Dan Rather pausing from the newscast and quote certain phrase from speeches by the Union's President, Abraham Lincoln. Afterward, Mr. Rather continued with the newscast. Lincoln’s quotes, from the Civil War Era, strengthen Mr. Rather.

The Holy Scriptures, Hebrew and New Testaments, make use of parables that have guided believers and non-believers for centuries. Below are some parables, poems, speeches, prayers, song lyrics, comments on current academic understandings and a funny joke that have uplifted us.
